Job Details
* Your German language skills are so good that you can communicate with passengers and the control centre without any problems (at least level B2).
* You have a category A1 or higher driving licence.
* We give you a lot of responsibility. That’s why we make sure that you have no entries in the IVZ (or ADMAS) or criminal record.
* It is important that you are in good health for the job: your BMI must be under 35.
* You should not have red-green vision impairment, as limited colour vision is a safety factor in traffic.
* Whether you are Swiss or have roots abroad – it doesn’t matter. It is important that you come from an EU/EFTA country or have a B or C permit, as this is the only way we are allowed to employ you.

* You are always keen to learn new things. This ability is particularly in demand at the beginning during the intensive two-month training programme (with full pay), but even after that you’ll always have something new to learn.
Salary
Your salary will be between CHF 68,000 and CHF 79,000 per year for a 100% position.
You will receive the full starting salary during your training period.
In addition, you will receive allowances for night and Sunday shifts and catering, amounting to around CHF 440 per month.
After a successful first year on the rails, you can expect a significant pay rise. Your future salary development depends on the annual performance appraisals and the financial situation of the City of Zurich.
