The role We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Lead Software Architect. In this role you will be responsible for the overall design and technical success of software projects from initial concept through to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. This includes defining the system architecture, guiding development teams on implementation, and making key decisions on tools, frameworks, and technologies. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring scalability, security, and performance, while collaborating with stakeholders, steering the project’s technical direction, and ensuring overall client satisfaction and project success How you’ll make impact You will be responsible for the development of complex IT architectures in innovative software solutions and for providing strategic-technological advice to our customers. You will manage teams from a technical perspective from kick-off to roll-out and will be in close contact with the project management team. With your leadership skills, you will win over, inspire and mobilize your project team and our customers for ideas. By coaching your team members in Software Engineering and Architecture and in the application of agile principles, you will make a decisive contribution to the success of a wide range of projects. With your skills and experience, you will further develop our Zühlke network of experts and work on group-wide initiatives for the continuous improvement of software development. What’s important to us You have a degree (FH, Uni, ETH or similar) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
