For one of our clients in the
Life Sciences industry
, we are seeking an experienced
Project Manager / Construction Manager
to support
small CAPEX engineering projects
(typically around 500 kCHF). This is a
resource-based engagement
, not a consulting mandate or full scope of work.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate small CAPEX engineering projects from initiation to close-out
* Provide day-to-day project and/or construction management support
* Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
* Plan, schedule, and track project activities and deliverables
* Oversee on-site execution with focus on
safety, quality, cost, and schedule
* Identify risks, propose mitigation actions, and escalate when needed
* Prepare and deliver structured progress updates (status, risks, next steps)
Profile & Qualifications
* Proven experience as Project Manager and/or Construction Manager for small CAPEX projects
* Background in
pharmaceutical or biotech environments
, with solid GMP knowledge
* Ability to work independently and integrate within an engineering organization
* Strong organizational and reporting skills
* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with sound judgment for escalation
