Are you passionate about making an impact and bringing your expertise to a collaborative environment? We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Senior Financial Analyst to join our Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) at Abbott’s global headquarters in Basel.
Why This Role Matters
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping financial insights that support strategic decisions across our Operations and Quality Assurance teams. You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and cross‑functional partners in Manufacturing and Quality, ensuring that your contributions help drive innovation and excellence.
What You’ll Do
* Lead with confidence: Manage the month‑end closing process across global sites, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
* Collaborate and connect: Partner with diverse teams to consolidate financial data and provide meaningful insights that influence business outcomes.
* Drive strategy: Support planning cycles, including annual plans and forecasts, and deliver reports that empower leadership decisions.
* Innovate and improve: Enhance reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI, Qlik) to make data accessible and actionable.
* Support growth: Assist in resource management and project coordination, contributing to initiatives that shape the future of our organization.
What We’re Looking For
* A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or certifications like CPA, CMA, ACCA are a plus).
* 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, ideally in a multinational environment.
* Strong skills in SAP, Hyperion HFM, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik).
* Ability to translate complex data into clear, strategic recommendations.
* A mindset that values collaboration, problem‑solving, and continuous improvement.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
