Internship: Simulation, Measurement and Data Analysis of Diesel Particulate Filters
Duration: initially limited to six months
Workload: ideally 100 %
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Simulate Diesel Particulate Filters and exhaust aftertreatment systems using 1D system simulation tools
Characterize filters and catalysts using advanced measurement techniques
Run just-in-time simulations during engine test bench at customer sites
Develop and apply a Python-based analysis framework (data processing, evaluation, modeling support)
YOUR PROFILE
An undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or comparable field
Strong interest in filter physics, catalysis, system modeling, and data analysis
Very good English skills; German is a plus
Structured, analytical, and hands-on mindset
