PThe World Economic Forum is an international organization that brings together leaders from business, government, academia, and civil society to build industry, regional and global agendas, address systemic issues, and improve the state of the world. /ppThe Regional Business Team is responsible for building and managing the strategic engagement and development of existing and new Forum Partners in Asia Pacific, China, Latin America, Middle East Africa, South Asia and Japan across Industry Communities, the 11 Forum Centres and our Forum events. /ppThe Regional Business Team is responsible for building and managing the strategic engagement and development of existing and new Forum Partners in Asia Pacific, China, Latin America, Middle East Africa, South Asia and Japan across , the and our .  /ppWe are currently searching for a Partner Lead (account manager), who will focus on building and reinforcing strategic relationships and interactions with senior executives from Forum Partner companies in the Asia Pacific region, with the key market for this portfolio being South Korea. The broader region comprises ASEAN countries, North Asia and Australasia. /ppResponsibilities include: /pliBuilding and maintaining executive-level relationship with key executives (from CEO, C-suite/Ex. Com., to Executive Contacts); /liliDeveloping in-depth understanding of Partners’ (accounts) strategies and priorities across industry sectors; deep understanding of the regional specifics of business context /liliEnsuring retention by developing tailored engagement plans for Partners to address their priorities and deepen their engagement in the most relevant Forum activities, in collaboration with the Partner Success Team (customer success) /liliOnboard Senior Executives from Partner companies into the Forum ecosystem and relevant engagements, in collaboration with Partner Success /liliVisiting Partners on a recurrent basis to discuss their priorities, elaborate and regularly revise the engagement strategies of the assigned portfolio of Partners /liliEnsuring all Partner interactions are accurately documented in Salesforce and that the Partner Success Team and all relevant internal stakeholders are notified about any actions to be taken to ensure effective Partner engagement  /liliMonitoring Partner news and health, and quality and depth of engagement across Industries, Centres and Forum events (on a recurrent basis) to identify risks for engagement; communicating detected risks and taking preventive measures to address them by mobilising the relevant teams as needed and in close collaboration with Partner Success Team /liliTranslating opportunities for expanded Partner engagement into upgrades by working in close collaboration with Industry, Centres and Partner Success Teams /liliManaging Partners’ and prospective Partners’ approach, preparation and on-site participation in Forum events, by supporting the Partner Success and Partner Development (sales) Teams to develop agendas, executive briefings and schedule and run bilateral meetings /liliEnsure smooth offboarding of Partners, when required. /lipTo be successful, a Partner Lead (Account Manager) should: /pliBuild strategic relationships with senior executives to develop and tailor Partner engagement plans based on their business priorities and relevant trends for the South Korea market as well as broader Asia Pacific Region /liliMonitor and proactively manage Partner engagement metrics and resulting actions to ensure retention /liliEnsure Salesforce is used to its full capacity and that Partner information is duly documented and available to all and used to deepen Partner relationships with the Forum /liliEnsure a ‘One-Forum’ approach by working close with all internal stakeholders and relevant teams to guarantee an optimal Partner engagement experience. /lipPreferred Requirements and Experience: /pliBachelor’s degree or equivalent /lili 5+years of relevant professional experience, including engaging with senior private sector stakeholders in South Korea as well as the broader Asia Pacific Region /liliProven experience engaging with business leaders at senior executive level, to understand business strategy and to translate business requirements into concrete business solution proposals /liliProven track record and ability to steer conversations and influence engagement at the highest senior executive level /liliCapacity to apply critical thinking, synthesize various viewpoints, consult broadly and work collaboratively across matrix organizations /liliOutstanding communication skills and command of English; fluency in Korean language is a strong plus /liliAbility to travel up to 40% for Partners visits /lipbWhy join us? /b /pbr/pJoin an independent and impartial organization with over 55 years of connecting leaders to make sense of global challenges and move the world forward together. /p
