MKS PAMP has significant growth plans in the AEMEA region as part of its global strategy. The company, with a main office in Geneva, already has a material presence in several AEMEA markets and is now creating an integrated regional business structure to drive exponential growth across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.
The Head of Sales is a crucial leadership position whose mission is to drive business growth and formulate the regional sales strategy to enhance client engagement across the Europe‑Americas region. This role is central to boosting the company’s market presence through strategic partnerships and leading a dynamic, cross‑border sales team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse client base, offering precious metals services from refining to trading and investment. This position demands a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and an entrepreneurial approach to spearhead market expansion, foster strong relationships, and lead client interactions.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution

Drive business growth and enhance MKS PAMP's regional profile through entrepreneurial leadership and client‑focused solutions.
Implement long‑term sales strategies that align with global objectives and address all service offerings.
Identify and prioritize key growth markets and client segments to drive sustainable revenue and leadership.
Proactively seek and assess emerging opportunities in new markets and adjust strategies based on data‑driven insights.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with broader company goals and regional market demands.
Provide senior management with strategic insights and uphold the Group's commitment to ESG values.

Business Development & Customer Engagement

Pursue and develop opportunities with existing and new prospects in the precious metals industry.
Expand and deepen relationships with institutional and wholesale clients such as banks, trading houses, and refiners.
Enhance MKS PAMP's brand visibility by representing the company at industry conferences and key client meetings.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure integrated service delivery and leverage CRM tools for streamlined sales activities.
Collect client feedback and market insights to continuously improve the company's products, services, and sales strategies.
Oversee sales execution and messaging to effectively communicate each product line’s value to its target market.
Set sales targets based on global and regional market trends and implement structured pricing strategies, promotions, and product launches.
Expand commercial presence in the AEMEA region by developing new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
Promote cross‑selling and synergies across Refining, Trading, and Minting to showcase MKS PAMP’s full precious metals offering.
Leverage market research, sales analytics, and CRM tools to guide decisions and enhance strategic account planning.
Inspire and guide a dispersed sales team by fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and accountability.
Establish clear KPIs and development plans, conduct regular reviews, and provide feedback and mentorship to drive individual and team growth.
Empower local sales leads by aligning tools and messaging with market needs and promoting shared learning across regions and business lines.
Ensure consistent and transparent communication through regular meetings and leadership engagement.
Champion a client‑first, ethical, and improvement‑oriented culture to uphold excellence and adaptability.

Data‑Driven Decision Making

Employ a data‑driven approach to sales activities, utilizing market research and integrated sales management systems.
Utilize customer profiles informed by industry‑specific data to predict high‑value partnership opportunities and improve lead conversion rates.
Regularly review and refine sales processes to meet the unique demands of the regional precious metal landscape.

Sales Operational Excellence

Adapt sales goals based on market trends, precious metal pricing, and internal business changes.
Uphold strong governance, pricing control, and risk management in all regional sales in line with company policies.
Work closely with Finance and Compliance to enforce internal controls, onboarding standards, and regional regulations.
Improve sales operations to boost efficiency and cost‑effectiveness while aligning with MKS PAMP’s ESG and responsible sourcing commitments.

Required Education and Experience

Master's degree or equivalent in Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in a similar role within precious metals, commodities, financial services, or a comparable industry.
Familiarity with international regulations, standards, and best practices related to precious metals.
Capacity to anticipate market shifts and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ethical foundation and transparent business dealings.
Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution.
Ability to interpret complex data and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
Proven experience in cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership in motivating and coordinating teams across countries.
Proficient with digital technologies, including MS Office Suite.
Proficiency in spoken and written English; knowledge of other European languages is an asset.
Swiss or EU citizenship or holder of a valid work permit in Switzerland.
