Global Digital Merchandising Coordinator (m/f/d) 100%
The Global Digital Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for optimizing the presentation and the business performance of product categories on Sepcialized.com. He/her knows his/her products, riders, business objectives and use his/her digital business acumen to optimize the experience and performance of product categories online. He/she owns product catalog management, sorting rules on listing pages and search results, filters, navigation, guided selling and cross-selling, as well as visibility across the site to drive traffic to specific product activation - globally.
This is a temporary position for a duration of 6 months. This role will be located at our Swiss office in Hünenberg (ZG) with an ideal start date as of 01. January 2026.
How you will make a difference
1. Design and execute the merchandising product strategy to win your targeted riders across the world
2. Drive sell-through, through ongoing improvements to our configurable toolset, with a focus on visual merchandising, guided selling, product recommendations, pricing strategy, & content
3. Collaborate with cross-functional product, sales and marketing teams to bring product collections to life, to tell product stories, and to enhance the online experience
4. Manage in-season execution of product flow by working proactively with sales, operations and supply chain to identify key inventory opportunities, market assumptions/drivers for current line items, new product introductions (NPI), carry in-line (CIL) and end of life (EOL) items
5. Support regional promotional activations following seasonal merchandising calendar
6. Analyze business performance to drive growth; create new reports, analyze sales and behavior data, and make appropriate recommendations on opportunities for improvement
7. Create and manage formal processes for developing rider-centered experiences, including local inputs into global strategies
8. Seek ways to streamline and improve processes
9. Research online retail landscape for product merchandising ideas, competitive trends, and experiences to inform future site enhancements
What you need to win
10. 3+ years of hands-on experience in B2C eCommerce merchandising, ideally selling physical products and used to planning according to inventory opportunities.
11. University degree
12. Proven track record for devising, executing and measuring successful eCommerce merchandising strategies with relevant KPIs
13. Organized, process-oriented
14. Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and an intense focus on achieving results
15. Ability to analyze data, think creatively and curiosity to continuously develop digital knowledge in the rapid evolution of technology
16. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
17. High level of energy, passion and enthusiasm for outdoor lifestyle in general and cycling in particular
18. Ability to champion needs cross functionally and influence where necessary across various levels of an organization
