About the Role
Working within a DevSecOps model, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing storage and backup systems in a complex data center environment. This position requires a proactive, independent professional with a strong passion for ICT and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
DevSecOps Operations & Platform Support
Ensure stable and secure operation of the digitalization platform
Support ongoing development and automation initiatives
Build knowledge and experience in the NDP operating model
Apply and improve processes, collaboration models, and tool usage
ITIL Management Practices
Service Request Management
Monitoring and Event Management
Change Enablement
Continuous Improvement (e.g., increasing automation levels)
Knowledge Management (including maintaining technical documentation and runbooks)
Required Qualifications
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
Alternatively, career changers with relevant IT training and proven practical experience
Must-Have Skills
Excellent written and spoken German
Strong interpersonal and customer-facing communication skills
Results‑oriented mindset with a proactive approach
Technical Expertise
Extensive hands‑on experience in storage management and backup solutions
Strong expertise with NetApp (installation, configuration, administration, optimization)
In‑depth knowledge of Commvault (backup, recovery, archiving)
Solid understanding of SAN/NAS architectures and protocols (NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI)
Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
Familiarity with cloud storage solutions and hybrid infrastructures
Experience with monitoring tools and troubleshooting complex storage environments
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Strong problem‑solving abilities in storage and backup environments
Experience designing and evolving storage/backup strategies
Knowledge of risk analysis and disaster recovery planning
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to diverse audiences
Self‑driven, proactive mindset with strong teamwork capabilities
