SENIOR IS PROJECT MANAGER
MISSION
As a Senior IS Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering complex IT programmes and projects across the organization. You will oversee the full project lifecycle - from initiation to closure - ensuring alignment with business strategy, organizational commitments, and operational objectives.
In this role, you will drive the successful implementation of solutions while coordinating cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders across the organization.
ROLE
1. Lead large/multiple projects simultaneously, adapting plans to prioritize initiatives and ensuring appropriate resources and governance structures are in place
2. Gather and clarify requirements for complex, multi-dimensional projects, working closely with Business Sponsors to align on objectives, scope, and deliverables
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, balancing expectations and facilitating effective decision-making
4. Provide leadership to project teams by guiding, motivating, and coordinating internal and external contributors, including cross-functional and remote teams
5. Navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities, adjusting project plans when necessary to ensure successful delivery
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices within the IT department
7. Provide expertise, mentoring, and coaching to other project managers
8. Ensure compliance with IT project management standards, including proper documentation and governance processes
9. Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with the enterprise architecture framework
10. Define and monitor project budgets throughout all phases, ensuring alignment with the overall IT budget
11. Identify project risks and potential issues, develop mitigation strategies, and manage escalation when required
12. Ensure proper project closure, including transition to operational support where applicable
PROFILE
13. 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering large and complex projects
14. Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to mobilize teams and drive results in a matrix organization
15. Strong ability to understand business performance drivers and translate business needs into effective IT solutions
16. Solid understanding of business processes and modern IT technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365 ecosystem, AI-enabled tools)
17. Experience managing projects related to SAP and ServiceNow environments
18. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
19. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMI, Agile, or SAP ASAP
20. Proficiency with project management tools and reporting frameworks
21. PMP certification is a strong asset
22. English fluent (C1 minimum); French is an asset. Additional languages are a plus in the context of a global organization
