Overview
We have a requirement for a Construction Manager for a large scale Pharmaceutical Construction Project in Switzerland. The role will be based near Schaffhausen in Switzerland.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with significant experience of large-scale construction projects and the management of large multi-disciplinary construction teams. The role is client-facing and requires the ability to inspire confidence throughout all phases of construction execution.

Responsibilities
1. Overall Responsibility for the management of the Construction Project.
2. Ensure that the Construction Service complies fully with PM Group systems and procedures.
3. Overall management of project Construction Services personnel including the recruitment liaison, onboarding and on-site coordination.
4. Lead construction projects on site as required.
5. Provide leadership in the areas of Construction Health & Safety, Construction QA/QC, Constructability, Contracts/Commercial and Project Controls.
6. Work closely with PM Group Construction Services to enhance and develop the overall service delivery.
Qualifications
7. Bachelor or Master degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
8. Additional Professional Qualifications in Engineering or Construction/Project Management desirable
9. At least 10 years' experience in the management of large-scale construction projects and multi-disciplinary construction teams
10. Professional working proficiency in German would be an advantage
11. Demonstrated capability in Construction delivery within specialised industrial sectors including, for example, Life Sciences, Food, Mission Critical & Data-Centres, etc.
12. Demonstrable experience in the promoting and ensuring exemplary standards of health and safety on large-scale construction projects
13. Proven ability to understand and contribute to the development of project implementation and associated commercial strategies for large-scale projects
14. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
15. Good knowledge of English; German is a +
