To further strengthen our team, we are looking for an engaged individual as a PROJECT ENGINEER IN THE FIELD OF ENERGY, PROCESS AND INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING (W/M/D; %) Your missions: • Plan and design techniques using modern tools • Conduct site visits and audits at client locations • Create P&ID diagrams • Dimension, specify, and select technical equipment • Perform technical calculations (thermal processes, fluid mechanics, piping) • Develop production plans and prepare cost calculations • Ensure supplier follow-up as well as oversee assembly • Participate in factory acceptance tests and assist with commissioning • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee optimal solutions Your profile: • Education in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or equivalent • Experience in dimensioning, specification, and selection of equipment • Solid knowledge of fluid mechanics and/or thermodynamics • Professional experience in technical design (heat exchangers, pumps, tanks, valves, and instruments) • Good knowledge of German, English, or French, both spoken and written • Personal responsibility, analytical mindset, and solution-oriented • Ability to work independently We offer: • Varied missions within a motivated team • Flexible working hours, parking spaces, and the possibility of remote work • Position based in the Berne region, 6 minutes by public transport from Bern Westside and easily accessible by car • Opportunities for advancement to a senior project engineer, project manager, or sales engineer role Have we piqued your interest?
