Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an Accountant to support their financial operations to ensure timely and accurate reporting across Swiss and international entities. You will work closely with finance teams to maintain compliance with Swiss accounting standards, contribute to month-end close processes, and support internal and external stakeholders with reliable financial information.
Responsibilities
* Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate postings
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
* Support accounts payable/receivable and reconciliation tasks
* Assist with VAT reporting and statutory compliance under Swiss regulations
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial queries
* Participate in audits and support internal control procedures
The preferred candidate must possess proven experience in accounting roles. As well as practical knowledge of MS Office, fluency in the English and German language and excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interact at all levels of business efficiently.
