The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and enhancing system architecture to achieve throughput exceeding 30K transactions per second. This role requires advanced proficiency in Oracle RAC optimization, SQL performance tuning, PL / SQL programming, and data warehouse design. Additional responsibilities include optimizing Kafka pipelines, collaborating with Java development teams on application performance, and ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS standards. Candidates must have experience with high-volume financial transaction systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver secure, high-performing, and scalable solutions.ResponsibilitiesThe role focuses on analyzing and enhancing system architecture to meet high-throughput requirements and collaborating with development teams to improve application performance. Key responsibilities include:Optimize Oracle RAC, SQL performance, PL/SQL programming, and data warehouse design to support high-volume financial transaction processing.Optimize Kafka pipelines and real-time data streaming processing.Collaborate with Java development teams on application performance and scalability improvements.Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS standards.Deliver secure, high-performing, and scalable solutions for transaction processing systems.Requirements7-10 years of proven experience in performance engineering, real-time systems, and data architectureDeep expertise in designing and optimizing Oracle RAC and high-throughput schema designStrong proficiency in SQL performance tuning, indexing, execution plan, and AWR report analysisAdvanced PL / SQL programming skillsExperience with infrastructure tuning for high-concurrency transactional databasesHands-on experience in data warehouse design and materialized viewsProven ability to manage denormalized data structures for fast analytical queryingProficiency with Apache Kafka and real-time data stream processingProgramming experience with Java, especially in high-volume transaction systemsExperience in credit card transaction processing, payment gateways, or financial servicesProficiency in BO model optimization and dashboard / report tuningKnowledge of distributed systems, high availability, and failover designFamiliarity with ETL / ELT pipelines and tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (desirable)Exposure to APM tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or New Relic (desirable)Knowledge of containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) and microservices (desirable)
