We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with strong expertise in standardization and modularization of machine skids—particularly for radial and magnetic bearing compressors. In this role, you will work independently within project teams, support development initiatives, and drive improvements in digital tools and engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Modularization and standardization of machine skids for radial and magnetic bearing compressors
* Coordination and interface management with integrated systems (controls, core machine, sealing systems, oil supply systems, cooling gas systems, magnetic bearing systems, etc.)
* Independent work within cross-functional project teams
* Leading and contributing to development projects
* Defining and implementing product configuration models in collaboration with engineering teams, product management, and sales
* Enhancing existing processes and tools in systems engineering and project execution
* Further development of digital processes and tools for offer phase and project execution
* Providing engineering support and consulting for radial and magnetic bearing machine skids
* Creating and maintaining specification templates and technical documentation for compressor skids
Required Qualifications & Competencies
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in project execution within plant engineering
* Deep knowledge of radial and magnetic bearing compressor skids (including sealing systems, oil supply systems, electric motor, and magnetic bearing systems) preferred
* Experience in product configuration or data modelling is a plus
* Good understanding of instrumentation is an advantage
* Strong experience with Ex protection desirable
* Excellent self-organization and goal-oriented working style
* Good command of German and English (written and spoken)
