Bilingual (FR & Eng) Sciences Secondary Teacher
Purpose of role: To deliver the Sciences curriculum for pupils in P9 classroom, in French and in English.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that foster students’ competence and appreciation of Science subject.
* Prepare students thoroughly for internal assessments and public examinations, ensuring high academic standards and measurable progress.
* Contribute to the planning, development, and review of the Science’s curriculum within the Department.
* Provide regular feedback, reports, and assessments to students and parents, supporting each learner’s academic and personal growth.
* Participate in departmental and whole‑school meetings, professional development, and collaborative projects.
* Promote a positive learning environment that reflects the values and ethos of the Mosaic School.
* Support school events, trips, and extracurricular activities related to Sciences.
Qualifications and Experience
* Recognised secondary teaching degree (PGCE, M.Ed., etc.).
* Minimum 3 years’ recent experience (PER).
* Inquiry-, project- teaching.
* Confident user of educational technology to boost engagement and strengthen home‑school partnerships.
* Culturally sensitive, collaborative and able to build strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
* Self‑motivated, organised and reflective.
* Positive, flexible and willing to contribute to a dynamic school community.
