Plant Controller Switzerland (m / f / d)

As Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our production site in Seewis. You will collaborate with the local management team and global operations leadership to drive informed decision-making, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with international standards and directives. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and the Head of Controlling Global Operations.
Participate actively in the plant leadership team, providing monthly KPI reports and insightful performance analyses.
Support the business unit head and portfolio management team by analyzing market and business trends.
Oversee all financial activities at the production site, promoting cross-department collaboration to improve transparency and processes.
Manage product cost accounting, standard cost accounting, CapEx, innovation, and cost center controlling, focusing on variance analysis.
Prepare financial reports monthly, quarterly, and annually, in line with group guidelines.
Lead the budgeting process to meet operational and strategic goals.
Enhance working capital efficiency, focusing on inventory management.
Ensure compliance with standards like ICS and act as the main contact for audits.
Drive continuous improvement projects with the management team to boost operational and financial efficiency.
Your profile:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
At least 3 years of controlling experience in manufacturing.
Experience supporting LEAN, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
Strong business acumen and a mindset for continuous improvement.
Quick problem-solver with reliable work ethic.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex financial info clearly.
Curious and enthusiastic about engaging with both financial and non-financial topics.
Proficient in SAP and MS Office, leveraging technology for insights.
Fluent in German and English.
