IT Solution Architect Expert – Power Platform / D365
We are seeking an Expert IT Architect with a strong focus on solution architecture for Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365. This role combines strategic advisory, governance, and compliance expertise with hands-on coaching and assurance to ensure optimal use of business applications. You will provide guidance on standard functions, integration scenarios, and process optimisation, while supporting knowledge transfer and organisational adoption.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on the optimal use of Dynamics 365 business applications, ensuring fit-to-standard adoption before customisation
* Provide module consulting and best practice guidance across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, and Project Operations
* Design and evaluate integration and interface scenarios with third-party connectors, external applications, and Power Platform services
* Define and optimise interface designs between Dynamics 365/Dataverse and external systems
* Drive process optimisation using standard functions such as Business Process Flows, business rules, templates, Power Automate, and AI features
* Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions
* Provide assurance and coaching to teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles
* Deliver knowledge transfer and mentoring to enhance organisational capability in Power Platform and D365 solution design
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* German skills required at C1 (professional fluency)
* English skills required at B1 for technical aspects
* Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 business applications and Power Platform architecture
* Deep knowledge of fit-to-standard approaches and managing non-functional requirements before customisation
* Strong expertise in module consulting across Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service, and Project Operations
* Hands-on experience in designing and managing integration scenarios, including third-party connectors and Power Platform services
* Proven ability to design secure and scalable interfaces between Dynamics 365/Dataverse and external systems
* Familiarity with process optimisation using Business Process Flows, business rules, templates, Power Automate, and AI features
* Solid understanding of governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Power Platform/D365 environments
* Strong communication, coaching, and assurance skills to guide teams and stakeholders
* Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Dynamics 365 certifications) are highly desirable
