Description
Senior Developer manages and directs system development for a large program supporting CMS. Requires ability to jump into a large codebase and efficiently reverse engineer, document, restructure and possibly re-architect while supporting business as usual and concurrent enhancements for users. Must have experience with complex Java Enterprise Applications and IBM WebSphere stack. Ideally modern lightweight cloud-native applications, containerization, Kubernetes, and DevOps services. Hands‑on approach and mentor for team. Pragmatic developer championing good practices, especially testing and automation. Candidates must currently live in the United States and have lived here for three of the past five years.
Responsibilities include:
* Provide technical direction for development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition through implementation.
* Apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to clients.
* Review the work of the development team.
* Easily recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
* Create and execute development plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
* Keep product manager well informed of status of development effort and serve as liaison between development staff and executive leadership.
* Own the development life‑cycle and manage technical risks throughout the project.
* Communicate and enforce coding standards—perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
* Consistently deliver high‑quality services to clients.

Salary Description
$130,000 - $150,000 Annually
