This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a cutting-edge team that is shaping the future of electric aviation. As an Airworthiness Engineer, you will be responsible for managing activities related to maintaining and developing our EASA Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with EASA regulations, leading the continuous improvement of design and certification processes, and liaising directly with regulatory authorities on audits, approvals, and design-related activities.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the design organisation operates in full compliance with EASA requirements, while leading the development of DOA procedures, manuals, and related documentation.
You will also participate in internal and external audits, ensure timely resolution of findings, and implement corrective/preventative actions. Additionally, you will support and guide engineering and certification teams in demonstrating compliance with applicable certification requirements.
This position requires strong leadership, project management, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. A proven track record of success in working as a team player and capacity to prioritize, manage time effectively, and multitask are essential.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, and at least 5 years of experience within an EASA DOA environment, with 2 years in an Airworthiness Office.
Strong understanding of EASA Part 21 Subpart J, relevant CS standards, and airworthiness regulations is required. Experience interfacing with EASA, national aviation authorities, or other certification bodies is also essential. Fluency in English (oral and written) is mandatory, and French is an asset.
