Job Description
Oversee monthly closings for assigned entities, including preparation of accruals, provisions, and prepaid expenses.
Work daily with the US Finance team to ensure operational consistency and financial accuracy.
Manage payroll postings and controls from end to end.
Perform detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, such as bank accounts (USD & EUR), Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
Handle the full lifecycle of fixed assets: additions, depreciation, disposals, and capitalizations.
Coordinate intercompany transactions and reconciliation between the entities and the US parent company.
Extract and analyze data from ERP systems.
Reconcile sales across all distribution channels and e‑commerce platforms.
Track inventory movements and valuations by reconciling ERP inventory to the General Ledger on a monthly basis.
Perform comprehensive gross margin analyses by channel and investigate discrepancies related to landed costs, markdowns, transportation, or shrinkage
Prepare monthly financial packages with clear commentary on P&L drivers.
Conduct variance analysis (Actual vs Budget vs Forecast) in collaboration with FP&A.
Present results and financial statements to US leadership.
Proactively improve accounting processes and strengthen internal control frameworks.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance; a Swiss Federal Diploma is a strong advantage.
At least 5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
Languages: Fluency in English and French is required for daily interaction across teams.
Tools: Advanced Excel capabilities (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and strong command of ERP data extraction/manipulation.
Analytical Skills: Ability to work with large data sets and reconcile complex ledgers.
Soft Skills: Autonomy, precision, and ease working across time zones and multicultural environments.
