Business Development Manager – IoT & Electronic Solutions
Location: Switzerland (On-site)
We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across the DACH region. This role is ideal for a proactive business builder who thrives on opening new opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth within high‑growth technology markets.
You will play a key role in expanding market presence across industrial, healthcare, logistics, and enterprise IoT sectors while helping shape future commercial strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute regional growth plans aligned with business objectives.
* Identify, qualify, and secure new customer opportunities.
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
* Create strategic account development plans for key customers.
* Build relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors, and strategic partners.
* Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events, and trade exhibitions.
* Drive executive‑level engagement and long‑term customer partnerships.
Strategic Collaboration
* Work closely with product management, engineering, and marketing teams to refine go‑to‑market strategies.
* Provide market insights to influence product roadmaps and future innovation.
* Support commercial positioning and customer acquisition initiatives.
* Collaborate with account management teams to maximise customer value and business growth.
Technical & Market Engagement
* Understand customer applications and identify solution opportunities.
* Support customer evaluations and early‑stage project engagement.
* Promote wireless and low‑power technologies across target markets.
* Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the decision‑making process.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in technical B2B sales or business development.
* Strong background in electronics, IoT solutions, wireless technologies, or embedded systems.
* Experience developing business within the DACH region.
* Proven track record of winning new business and delivering revenue growth.
* Strong understanding of customer engagement, negotiation, and strategic account development.
* Experience working with OEMs, channel partners, and technology ecosystems.
