In this diverse and exciting position, you will be responsible for creating export documents for shipments from our warehouse in Switzerland. In addition to handling shipments, the role involves maintaining and checking customs-relevant master data in the system. In this context, you will review free trade and preference agreements to ensure compliance with customs and preference regulations. Your daily tasks also include communication with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and customs agencies. Participation in projects within the department, as well as in customs and foreign trade audits, complete the interesting job profile.
Required experience and skills:
1. Successfully completed training as a forwarding agent or a comparable education
2. Relevant professional experience in the field of customs, especially in import and export processing (EU and Switzerland)
3. Experience in customs tariff classification
4. Knowledge in the field of customs and foreign trade law
5. Very good English skills
6. Profound IT knowledge (MS Office, ideally SAP, customs processing software)
7. Confident demeanor and high resilience
8. Structured and goal-oriented working approach and a high degree of initiative
9. Strong communication and analytical skills, assertiveness, and team spirit
