Job Description
1. Development of New Distribution Partnerships
o Lead and advance ongoing partnering processes across Australia / New Zealand, South East Asia, and South Korea .
o Identify, screen, and assess potential distribution partners.
o Drive partner selection processes and lead contract negotiations through to successful agreement signing.
o Prepare, challenge, and validate commercial and financial business cases.
o Support internal decision-making processes at senior stakeholder level.
o Ensure smooth business transitions when changing distributors, maintaining continuity and controlled handovers.
2. Regional Focus
o Australia / New Zealand: Finalize partner selection and secure contract signature by December 2026, while managing the transition to a new distributor.
o South East Asia:
+ Continue ongoing processes in two markets, targeting contract signature by April 2027.
+ Lead early‑stage scouting and partner development in remaining markets, targeting contract signature by June 2027.
o South Korea:
+ Lead partner scouting and selection process with the objective of reaching an internal decision by December 2026.
+ Continue with contract negotiations and execution (estimated additional 6‑8 months).
3. Management of Existing Distributor Markets
o Manage and further develop distributor relationships across:
+ Australia / New Zealand
+ South Africa
+ Taiwan
+ Hong Kong
+ Selected Eastern European markets
o Monitor and steer commercial performance, including sales, forecasts, inventory, and risks.
o Conduct regular business reviews and implement corrective actions where required.
o Build and maintain strong senior‑level relationships with partners.
4. Strategic and Operational Contribution
o Deliver fact‑based, commercially sound recommendations with a high degree of autonomy.
o Ensure compliance with pricing strategies, governance frameworks, and confidentiality requirements.
o Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Finance, and Commercial teams.
The Successful Applicant
Professional Experience
* Several years of experience at Senior Manager level in business development, distributor management, or commercial strategy, ideally in an international environment.
* Proven track record in selecting and negotiating distribution partnerships.
* Strong experience in building and evaluating commercial and financial business cases.
* Experience working on contract negotiations in collaboration with Legal teams.
* Exposure to managing international markets, ideally within the APAC region.
