As a Service Senior Tender Specialist, you will be part of our Grid Automation Service Team. We provide Service Solutions for substation automation systems, control and protection, cyber security, communication, and telecontrol technology. The team is highly motivated and customer-oriented. Our ambition is to provide high-quality service, delivering solutions aligned with customer needs. We are looking for you as a new member of our service team!
Your Responsibilities :
1. Draw up competitive tenders for service including retrofit solutions, plant extensions, upgrades, service contracts, site activities, and other services in substation automation systems, control and protection, cyber security.
2. Review and analyze customer requirements and clarify them, integrating into offers and solution concepts in close coordination with specialist departments.
3. Define and support strategic pricing policies based on value pricing, and manage price realization.
4. Take leadership and accountability of the tender preparation until the contract is awarded.
5. Prepare cost calculations, integrating supplier quotations based on a suitable product mix and considering technical and commercial aspects.
6. Manage sales support and administrative processes, including tender and risk review, strategic scope definition, contractual terms, and timely proposal submission, ensuring technical and commercial support until contract signing and booking.
7. Coordinate and allocate internal and external resources for proposal preparation.
8. Support growth opportunities with existing and new customers.
9. Identify potential vendors for equipment and materials, cross-check offers with specifications, and assist supply management in coordinating requests to sub-suppliers and sub-contractors.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with a strong technical background, ideally with emphasis in power engineering.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation automation, control and protection, and cyber security.
3. Ideally experience in Sales, Tendering, and Bid & Proposal in the field of substation automation, control, and protection.
4. Proven track record working with electrical utilities, system integrators, or technical consultants in the relevant field.
5. Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are advantageous.
6. Willingness to travel up to 30% for business assignments.
7. Flexibility and interest in working within an international team.
8. Experience in customer contact, coordinating multiple tenders, and taking responsibility.
