We are seeking a
Scientific Communications Manager
within the Oncology area of Medical Affairs. The role focuses on the strategic planning, development, and execution of scientific communication activities (publications, education, stakeholder engagement) to ensure effective dissemination of data. The ideal candidate is a biomedical science professional with proven expertise in medical communications, publication planning, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute publication strategies in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
* Manage the full publication process, including review, compliance, and tracking of deliverables.
* Lead and facilitate scientific communication meetings, ensuring alignment across functions.
* Support internal communication efforts with publication announcements, summaries, and updates.
* Collaborate with external health care professionals, experts, and medical communication agencies.
* Provide scientific input to medical education initiatives (e.g., HCP slide decks, content distillation).
* Ensure adherence to Good Publication Practice and ICMJE guidelines.
Must-Haves
* Master's degree or higher (PhD/PharmD/MD preferred) in Biomedical Sciences.
* At least 1 year of experience in medical or scientific communications (diagnostics preferred).
* Strong knowledge of Good Publication Practice (GPP) and ICMJE guidelines.
* Proven project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Excellent English writing, editing, and communication abilities.
* Experience with publication planning, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
