Following the retirement of the incumbent, we are looking for a dedicated and dynamic person to join our hospitality service as: Chef at 80% to 100% Your mission As a chef, you play a key role in the quality of the hospital experience. Leading a team of 24 people, you directly contribute to the well-being of patients as well as residents in nursing homes. The kitchen brigade produces approximately 400 meals a day for our various internal clients, and your responsibilities will include: Organizing and controlling kitchen operations and supply management, and inventory management. Defining and executing work processes/procedures according to good practices for kitchen tasks and in compliance with quality, efficiency, safety, and ergonomics principles. Planning menus, integrating sustainability principles. Developing and applying the HACCP concept. Participating in budget preparation and monitoring. Initiating and managing projects, including banquets and events. Managing staff, planning attendance and absences. Participating in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding and supervising all activities of teams under your responsibility. The opportunity to be a key player in the future kitchen and the new concept of hospitality as part of the extension and renovation of the hospital. You hold a federal vocational certificate as a cook or an equivalent qualification, completed by a federal diploma as a head chef or equivalent. You have experience in team leadership, ideally with a background in management. Experience in a hospital environment or in collective catering is important, as is experience in cold chain and/or dietetics. You are proficient in French and in common tools (Microsoft Office). You demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and a strong sense of responsibility, enjoy challenges, work in an interdisciplinary team, and are committed to offering gourmet, context-adapted culinary proposals.
