You will play a pivotal role in strengthening CENTEGIX’s partnerships with Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) and law enforcement agencies. As the PSAP Lead, you will serve as the subject matter expert responsible for driving seamless integration discussions, fostering strong relationships with PSAPs, and supporting internal teams through standardizing processes and providing training and guidance. By centralizing PSAP operations under your leadership, you will help streamline the customer experience, reduce onboarding challenges, and ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency across accounts. This highly cross-functional role serves as the operational bridge between external partners, internal departments, and our customers.
Position Responsibilities
* Centralized Ownership: Serve as the primary point of contact for PSAP integration discussions throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational strategy.
* Customer Liaison: Act as the professional liaison for customers without established PSAP relationships, facilitating clear communication and smooth integration.
* Subject Matter Expertise: Provide guidance, training, and consultative support to Onboarding, Customer Success, Sales, and Account Management teams on PSAP requirements, best practices, and proper ongoing support.
* Operational Process Development: Create and maintain a centralized “Source of Truth” for PSAP contacts, integration requirements, and configuration standards, ensuring documentation is accurate, accessible, and up to date.
* Vendor Partnership Management: Serve as the SME for 911 vendor partnerships, streamlining workflows and sharing knowledge across the PMO. Strengthen existing partnerships and bring those learnings and standardized practices to any new partnerships.
* Compliance & Data Requests: Assess and coordinate responses to PSAP data requests, ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and operational standards.
* Configuration & Audit Support: Audit PSAP email configurations, recommend improvements, and oversee readiness for enterprise-level initiatives such as Single Sign-On.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and operational teams to advocate for enhancements, share field insights, and support PSAP-related initiatives.
* Customer Adoption Support: Identify and address adoption challenges, working with customers and PSAPs to reduce friction, strengthen relationships, and ensure successful integrations.
* Reporting & Metrics: Deliver regular updates to leadership on PSAP integrations, vendor trends, adoption progress, and issue resolution.
Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience in customer-facing roles with strong relationship management; experience with law enforcement, public safety, or emergency communications preferred.
* Familiarity with PSAP operations, 911 systems, or vendor relationships in the safety/security technology space is a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to consult with external agencies and present recommendations internally.
* Proficiency with project and CRM tools (Monday.com, Salesforce, or similar).
* Ownership mentality - responsible for building out this position and program from the ground up with a high level of autonomy.
* Ability to proactively create and standardize processes in a fast-moving environment.
* Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and providing training to diverse teams.
* Travel as needed (~15% - 25%).
