This role will focus on proactive claims preparation, drafting, and contractual protection across major infrastructure programmes. /p h3The Opportunity /h3 pAn opportunity exists for an experienced Claims Manager/Specialist to join a strategic project support function based in Switzerland. /p pThis position will support large-scale civil engineering and infrastructure works, working closely with commercial leadership and project teams to ensure robust entitlement preservation and structured claims preparation. You will be responsible for preparing well‑evidenced, contractually grounded claims submissions, drafting clear and persuasive narratives, and safeguarding the organisation’s contractual position across complex live project environments. /p pThe role offers exposure to high‑value infrastructure works within a structured international contractor environment. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liPrepare and draft detailed contractual claims submissions, including entitlement narratives and supporting documentation /li liDevelop structured, evidence‑based claim strategies in line with contract provisions /li liAnalyse contract conditions and assess entitlement under applicable forms /li liDraft clear and professional claim narratives with strong factual and contractual grounding /li liReview and evaluate variation and compensation event positions /li liSupport project teams in maintaining contemporaneous records to protect entitlement /li liCollaborate with planning, commercial, engineering, and legal teams to align technical and contractual arguments /li liAssist in negotiations, dispute avoidance processes, and where necessary, formal dispute proceedings /li liMaintain clear and structured documentation to support potential arbitration or litigation scenarios /li liProvide internal contract awareness and guidance to project teams /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related technical discipline /li liStrong background in major civil infrastructure or heavy engineering projects /li liProven experience in claims preparation and contract administration within contractor environments /li liDemonstrable capability in drafting detailed claim narratives and substantiated submissions /li liSolid understanding of contractual entitlement, risk allocation, and dispute processes /li liIdeally holds or is working toward an LL.M in Construction Law, Arbitration, or Dispute Resolution (or similar postgraduate qualification) /li liStrong analytical and written communication skills /li liComfortable working within structured, multinational project environments /li liFluency in English and French is essential; German would be advantageous /li /ul pOur client operates at the forefront of international infrastructure delivery and maintains high standards in governance, technical excellence, and contractual discipline.
