Trade Development Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Development Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation and implementation of strategic assignments related to trade development, including private sector issues and specific challenges of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and implementation of strategies for effective Public-Private-Partnerships (PPPs) and generation of resources.
This role requires strong research and writing skills, as well as the ability to analyze and interpret complex concepts and data.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting applicable research as required;
* Contributing to the creation and implementation of strategic assignments related to trade development;
* Designing, developing, and implementing strategies for effective PPPs and resource generation;
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in economics, business, international development, or a related area, and at least seven years of relevant work experience.
A minimum of seven years of relevant work experience is required. Knowledge of international trade development and trade-related development assistance (TRTA) is desirable.
Fellowship details: One-year assignment, non-renewable. Funding provided by the Mo Ibrahim Foundation (MIF). No support for family members.
