Responsibilities
* Responsible for the handover of the work results from Nexxiot R&D into production at the selected EMS. This includes support during initial talks with EMS, optimization of designs based on EMS feedback, provision of appropriate data packages and documentation to enable EMS to manufacture to our expectations, during prototyping, 0-series, and mass production ramp-up.
* Responsible for ongoing stable production, with dashboards updated when changes are implemented.
* Operational interface between R&D, supply chain, quality, and our EMS partners.
* Driving improvements throughout the development process to ensure a smooth handover into production at the EMS.
* Supporting the industrialization process of new product developments to ensure seamless integration of products into the EMS, down to the finished product.
* Creating the necessary documentation to ensure a proper understanding of our manufacturing needs and requirements at the EMS.
* Point of reference between Nexxiot HQ and the local manufacturer.
Qualifications
* Good knowledge of quality management systems.
* Problem-solving and hands-on mentality.
* Excellent English and German language skills (Italian or Spanish is a plus).
* Good reporting and understanding of technical and commercial documentation.
* Eager to learn and bring in new ideas to improve our way of production.
* Good public relations skills in a cross-cultural environment.
* Basic project management skills.
* Willingness to travel about 30% and be on site with our EMS during ramp-up for an extended period.
* Good understanding of electronics.
* At least 10 years of experience in similar positions.
