About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Merchandise Planner to support the development and execution of merchandise financial plans and assortment strategies.
Working closely with Buyers and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to building the right assortment at the right time, in the right quantities and at the right margin, supporting business performance and decision-making.
Your Responsibilities
* Support the development of assortment plans by analyzing past performance, market specificities and trend indications
* Contribute to the preparation of financial plans including weekly takings, intake margin, markdown and gross profit
* Calculate quantities for new products based on historical data and inputs from Buying teams
* Support the management of Open To Buy (OTB) and stock levels
* Analyze current business performance, historical results and market trends to identify risks and opportunities
* Support the definition of ideal assortments in collaboration with Buyers
* Contribute to financial planning updates and weekly budget tracking
* Participate in promotional and clearance pricing activities to optimize sell-through
* Prepare and analyze data for business reviews and presentations
* Support business meetings by providing insights and analysis to drive performance
Your Profile
* Degree in Business, Finance or similar field
* Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
* Good knowledge of Excel (SAP/BW is a plus)
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Proactive and team-oriented mindsetStrong communication skills
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
