The Consumer Retail Sales Manager Switzerland is responsible for establishing and managing the total Consumer retail partner ecosystem, based in our Zurich office. You will own the PL, drive growth within the existing customer base, and expand Lenovo’s footprint by acquiring new partners across key consumer segments including Mass Merchandisers, Consumer Electronics Stores, Computer Shops, Office Equipment Retailers, and E‑tail.
As an ideal candidate, you bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong ability to define and execute an effective retail strategy while building long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers and key influencers.
Responsibilities
* Achieve Swiss market sales targets across revenue, volume, profitability, and partner expansion
* Develop and execute the end‑to‑end retail strategy, with full ownership of the sales process
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, e‑tailers, distributors, and telco partners
* Drive business growth by expanding existing partnerships and acquiring new retail accounts
* Manage and execute Lenovo’s consumer strategy across major retail chains
* Ensure effective account management processes and governance for key retail partners
* Define and track KPIs to measure and drive retail business performance
* Lead forecasting and pipeline management to increase share of wallet with existing partners
* Strengthen Lenovo’s in‑store and online presence across major retail channels
* Collaborate with product (4P) and marketing teams on portfolio strategy, campaigns, and go‑to‑market execution
* Lead, coach, and inspire a high‑performing retail sales team
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of proven experience in retail sales within the IT or consumer electronics industry
* Strong track record in managing key accounts, negotiations, and multi‑channel retail environments
* Established network within Swiss retail, e‑tail, and distribution landscape
* Strong commercial acumen with PL ownership and results‑driven mindset
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior decision‑makers
* Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop sales teams
* Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution focus
* Willingness to travel within Switzerland
* Fluency in German and English; French is an advantage
