The main responsibilities revolve around budget management, management control, accounting, treasury, the establishment of financial statements, internal control, the funds and foundations unit, and legal affairs. Within the framework of the implementation of its strategic plan, the Finance Department is engaged in a major transformation plan (redesign of processes, adjustments of a new ERP) whose purpose is to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of the delivery of its services and its internal service offer. As a member of the Finance Department management team, you work in close collaboration with the Director of Finance, you ensure their replacement during their absences, by taking charge of all their activities. You ensure the co-piloting of the Finance Department and are one of the drivers of transformation projects.Main activitiesAs a member of the governance of Hospice général, you contribute, with your peers and general management, to the definition and development of a systemic vision of the institution's challenges. You steer the implementation of the strategic roadmap for the actions under your responsibility.You collaborate closely with your peers and general management and contribute to the smooth operation and development of the institution, as well as to the evolution of the management culture.As a member of the Finance Department management team, you actively contribute to the definition and implementation of its strategy in an evolving political, legal, and regulatory environment.- You carry out active monitoring on subjects concerning the institution in the Finance field.- You participate in decision-making on institutional subjects in the Finance field.- You actively contribute to the governance of the transformation project of the Finance Department.- You mobilize internal and external stakeholders and guarantee alignment between objectives and resources.- You anticipate and support change, often in a complex environment, by designing and co-constructing an effective, agile, and innovative organization that responds as closely as possible to needs.- You steer, participate in, and support files, studies, or missions of importance for the Finance Department.- According to your profile, you supervise certain activities of the Finance field.- You will be required to represent the Finance Department before the institution's bodies (Audit Committee, Board of Directors) or before political bodies (Department of Social Cohesion, Finance Commission, Court of Auditors, etc.), by embodying the values and culture of Hospice général.- By developing and maintaining a stimulating work environment, you supervise the employees under your responsibility, arouse their commitment and adherence, and promote the development of their skills.Your profile- You hold a university master's degree, ideally supplemented by a certification in management, project management, or public administration.- You have at least 8 years of professional experience in one or more functions of a financial department (management control, accounting, treasury, internal/external audit, internal control).- You have demonstrated experience in team management and transversal project management.- You have a good understanding of the political issues, the legal and regulatory framework of Geneva in the financial field.- You are able to manage complex situations, and you are recognized for your ability to unite and lead large-scale changes.- You possess strong leadership and your ability to develop a long-term vision and defend institutional positions is proven.- You have a dynamic, proactive, and solution-oriented personality.
