As Global Portfolio Manager – Microelectronics, you will lead the strategic product portfolio for the Semiconductor industry, focusing on ultra-pure water (UPW) applications. Your goal is to keep our offer competitive, differentiated, and aligned with customer needs. Collaborate with global Product Management teams to shape the product mix and roadmap, act as the key link to Sales, and turn market insights into actionable portfolio decisions. You will also manage selected Microelectronics products. This role is vital for translating market intelligence into priorities - driving long-term leadership and growth.
Global Portfolio Manager - Microelectronics (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
* Define and refine the Microelectronics portfolio strategy based on customer needs, competitor analysis, and market trends
* Prioritize competitive products in collaboration with Product Management teams and the Microelectronics organization
* Align portfolio with global growth targets and innovation roadmap
* Consolidate market insights and customer feedback into portfolio development plans
* Support Sales and Marketing in communicating portfolio value to customers
* Ensure portfolio decisions are embedded across the organization
* Collaborate with R&D, Operations, and key departments to deliver strategic initiatives
* Track portfolio performance (growth, margin, and competitiveness e.g.)
* Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to initiate corrective actions
Your profile:
* A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
* Profound experiences in the microelectronics industry are key
* 10+ years' experience in portfolio and/or product management, ideally in a B2B or engineering environment
* Strong knowledge of market segmentation, product lifecycle, and strategic portfolio development
* Skilled in navigating matrixed, multicultural environments
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer value
* Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively
* Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and commercial acumen
