German Speaking Solution Consultant

Our cloud‑based SaaS ETRM software combines modern architecture, scalability, and flexibility to help our customers manage their trading operations more efficiently and intelligently. About the Role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Solution Consultant to join our fast‑paced, collaborative team. This is a consultative, cross‑functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, product, and customer engagement. You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, and Services to support and accelerate the technical sales cycle and ensure prospects and internal stakeholders alike understand the value of the Coral platform.

In this role, you'll own and conduct in‑depth discovery to understand the unique business and technical needs of potential clients. You will design and deliver engaging, tailored product demonstrations, respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the evaluation process.

This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience implementing ETRM systems who is now looking to move into a more outward‑facing, pre‑sales‑focused role where they can apply their expertise to shape solutions and engage directly with prospects.


Key Responsibilities

* Supporting the sales team as a subject‑matter expert in energy trading business processes and Previse Coral’s business capabilities throughout the sales cycle
* Conduct thoughtful, structured discovery to surface business and technical requirements, and map them to Previse Coral capabilities
* Deliver compelling, tailored demonstrations that convey the value of the Previse Coral platform across data, analytics, trading, and operational workflows
* Design compelling messaging and visual assets that communicate Coral’s business value and integration within the prospect’s broader system landscape
* Collaborate with Marketing on content and campaigns that showcase Coral’s value proposition
* Respond to functional and technical sections of RFPs and RFIs; help manage and evolve our standard answer library and tooling stack
* Act as a connector between Sales, Product, and Clients – interpreting and prioritising market requirements for the internal roadmap
* Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by hosting training segments or product deep‑dives for Customers and Delivery teams


Requirements

About You

* 3–5 years of experience in ETRM or enterprise software implementation, pre‑sales, or business consulting
* Strong customer‑facing experience, including client discovery, product demonstration, or training
* Deep familiarity with ETRM implementations or adjacent energy/commodities platforms
* A structured mindset and the ability to translate business requirements into solution narratives and system configurations
* A clear, confident communication style that works across technical and non‑technical audiences
* Fluency in German and English
* A self‑driven, proactive approach to owning tasks and solving problems
* A bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, economics, or a related field
* Extra skills highly valued: Python (automation and demo tooling); Power BI or other visualisation platforms; Previous experience in a pre‑sales or solution consulting role

This position typically operates during regular business hours during the week, but our intent is to provide a high degree of freedom for the right candidate. Occasional after‑hours work for special projects will be required.


Travel

Travel will be required on occasion for customer demos, workshops, or industry events, with an average frequency of once or twice per month.
