What are we looking for?
Job Responsibilities
* Responsible for information security within the Vorwerk International legal entity, working closely with the global information security organization.
* Serve as a sparring partner and deputy for the ISO of two smaller Vorwerk legal entities.
* Promote compliance with information security policies and develop local policies to meet local regulations in coordination with the IS organization.
* Identify and assess local risks, perform gap analyses, and implement information security policies and security plans.
* Ensure local IS incident management aligns with the global process.
* Manage approvals, exceptions, and process escalations.
* Initiate and monitor the implementation of information security measures and projects based on risk assessments and global initiatives.
* Support business and DPO in third-party management, including due diligence and performance monitoring.
* Review the "Technical and organizational measures" in Data Processing Agreements.
* Conduct data protection impact assessments related to security risks, in collaboration with the business and DPO, and define mitigating measures.
* Advise IT and business areas on information security issues and support audits.
* Conduct local awareness programs and training, and manage stakeholder relationships.
* Participate in the global ISO community.
Your Profile
* Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering, or comparable training.
* Over 3 years of practical experience in information security.
* Certifications such as ISO auditor or equivalent.
* Fluent in written and spoken English; German is a plus but not required.
* Experience with information security and data protection.
* Strong communication skills, solution-oriented mindset, and excellent teamwork skills.
* Willingness to travel.
