Franchise Head High Specialty (d/f/m)
The Franchise Head High Specialty is responsible for managing the High Specialty sales and marketing team to ensure the overall commercial success of the Franchise’s generic & biosimilar assets in the areas of Neurology, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology and Addiction Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Franchise’s P&L, closely monitoring budgeting, forecasting, and sales performance of the High Specialty portfolio, including generic & biosimilar assets in the areas of Neurology, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology and Addiction Medicine.
* Lead and guide the sales and marketing teams, including the direct management of the Franchise’s Key Account Managers (KAMs), to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
* Define a fit‑for‑purpose go‑to‑market model for the Franchise’s portfolio, including channel strategy and commercial terms to maximize value across customer segments and key accounts.
* Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand positioning, engage key opinion leaders, and promote the Franchise’s portfolio effectively.
* Drive field force effectiveness (“right customer, right message, right frequency”) to maximize impact of the KAMs customer‑facing activities.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Medical, Market Access and Supply Chain) to successfully engage diverse customer groups and maximize impact of sales and marketing efforts.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment to achieve the Franchise’s business objectives.
* Cooperate with Region Europe and Global teams responsible for key High Specialty products to leverage ideas and concepts from other countries and make full use of above‑country initiatives and promotional assets.
* Lead talent development for the Franchise and maintain a relentless focus on coaching while role‑modeling the Sandoz core values.
* Track KPIs including financial targets such as achievement of Gross Sales, Net Sales and Total Functional Cost (TFC) requirements for the Franchise.
Essential Requirements
* University degree in bioscience, medicine, business and/or economics – MBA or PhD preferred.
* Business level proficiency in English, German and ideally French.
* Substantial sales & marketing experience within the pharma industry, including 3–5 years in a management position.
* Proven track record of P&L responsibility.
* In-depth understanding of the Pharma marketplace, including key dynamics, competitors, regulatory processes.
* Proven experience of specialty care product launch and product commercialization processes.
* Strong leadership skills and experience in managing sales and marketing teams.
* Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
