Responsibilities We are expanding our Global Corporate Information Security Team and are looking for new colleagues and leaders to join us in Bulle (FR), Switzerland. We are seeking a Head of Network Security reporting to the Head of Digital Security. The scope of duties includes:
Oversee the organization’s global network security strategy, ensuring protection of IT, OT, and Cloud Environments, as well as leading the Network Security Team, Products, and Services.
Supervise deployment of network security solutions (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs).
Develop and implement comprehensive network security strategies, policies, and procedures.
Design, deploy, and maintain secure network architectures and zones.
Lead risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and remediate network threats.
Optimize Network Security investments, automation, and network segmentation for IT and OT.
Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security solutions across the network infrastructure.
Coordinate with SOC/CERT for incident response to network breaches, ensuring timely containment and recovery.
Maintain a defensible network design with embedded security monitoring and traffic analysis.
Stay current with emerging network security trends, technologies, and best practices to foster continuous improvement.
Competencies Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields.
5+ years in cybersecurity and 3+ years in leadership roles.
Preferred certifications include CISSP or CISM, and cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in English; German and French are advantageous.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO27001, NIST).
Deep knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, tools, and technologies (e.g., 5G, NGFW, NDR/xDR).
Familiarity with major technology stacks and vendors (CISCO, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba).
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively.
Project management skills.
Willingness to travel globally.
