The Opportunity
The EY Business Consulting team provides a wide range of services dedicated to advising clients in the Financial Services industry, including Wealth & Asset Management, Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance sectors. The industry is undergoing significant technological changes, making it an exciting time to join our evolving team. As a Consultant in our Transformation Execution Practice, you will lead technology-driven transformation initiatives in WAM, BCM, and insurance, designing and delivering technology-enabled solutions for our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Leading business-led, technology-enabled transformation projects across the Financial Services sector.
* Managing project streams and internal initiatives.
* Collaborating with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions leveraging technology.
* Presenting recommendations clearly and analytically to clients.
* Utilizing and enhancing EY’s global methodologies, frameworks, and tools for transformation.
* Organizing and leading internal and external thought leadership sessions.
* Co-hosting events and preparing client communications.
* Supporting go-to-market strategies and business development efforts in technology-enabled spaces.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* Innovative mindset with problem-solving skills.
* Interest in AI, data, and technology, with a good understanding of private banking.
* 1-3 years of experience in data-driven environments (e.g., AI projects, data governance, analytics).
* Strong academic background from a reputable university.
* Motivation to work in a dynamic consulting environment within financial services.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Ability to communicate effectively across all management levels.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Team-oriented, client-focused, and proactive in solution delivery.
* Fluency in English; German, Swiss German, or other languages are a plus.
Preferred Additional Skills
* Experience in project management, especially in technology transformations.
* Business analysis and requirements engineering skills.
* Experience with Agile and Design Thinking methodologies.
* Experience in large-scale transformation projects with multiple providers.
* Knowledge of API design, RPA, AI, Cloud, Python, or related topics.
* Leadership experience in small project teams is advantageous.
