LO Patrimonia is an entity of Lombard Odier Group providing wealth planning and fiduciary services. With a team of some thirty experts whose skills cover Switzerland, the main European jurisdictions and other regions of the world, LO Patrimonia serves clients of the Lombard Odier Group exclusively. To cope with a growing and challenging regulatory environment, we are looking for a Risk and Control Officer. The person will maintain an operational risk control plan and perform controls to ensure LO Patrimonia complies with its regulatory obligations and mitigates risks in accordance with Lombard Odier Group’s requirements. This includes the improvement of operational efficiency of tools and processes. The person will work closely with LO Patrimonia’s management and legal/compliance responsible person as well as collaborate with other departments of Lombard Odier Group in the field of risk, operational and technology management. YOUR MISSION
Maintain LO Patrimonia’s risk control environment including governance, risk committee and reportings in accordance with Group Risk’s requirements
Monitor activities and perform and/or consolidate controls for the risk committee
Perform controls to monitor LO Patrimonia’s compliancy with regulatory obligations
Act as data owner
Act as Business Risk Manager and support LO Patrimonia’s management to comply with Lombard Odier Group Risk’ requirements
Coordinate Internal Audit requests with relevant stakeholders and implement recommendations
Manage the delivery of multiple projects requested by LO Patrimonia’s management or legal/compliance responsible person from initial analysis to implementation
Collaborate to wider legal and regulatory projects initiated from other departments of the Lombard Odier Group and with the assistance of the department in charge of operations and organization.
YOUR PROFILE
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in banking or fiduciary environment in a similar role or equivalent
Good knowledge of regulatory requirements of Swiss Law, specifically FINMA’s circulars on AML and risk topics, corporate law, AMLA, FADP and cross-border rules (soft law)
Good experience in the fields of compliance and risk researches and controls
Knowledge of SQL language and overall understanding of IT hardware and software in order to be able to exchange with IT persons and popularize for non IT persons
Proficient level with Microsoft office tools, especially Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe acrobat and ability to self-learn other applications
Versatile, analytical, long term oriented, good interpersonal skills, willing to learn, tenacious, team player and communicator
Fluent in French and English
