Your Tasks
1. Develop and implement lifecycle strategies for managing product lifecycles across our Training Systems portfolio.
2. Coordinate obsolescence analysis, identifying risks early and proposing proactive mitigation plans.
3. Manage the obsolescence database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
4. Initiate resolution activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams and collaborate with Product Managers to align obsolescence resolutions with product roadmaps.
5. Produce regular customer-facing and internal reports on obsolescence trends and forecasts.
6. Continuously refine and innovate on obsolescence processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
With this you convince us
1. Technical education in engineering, electronics, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of two years' experience in obsolescence management, product lifecycle management, or related field.
3. Previous exposure to the aviation industry (or similarly complex technical environments) and additional qualifications in product management or business administration are a plus.
4. Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, and strong MS Office skills (especially Excel).
5. English at a minimum C1 level (written and spoken); additional languages (German) are beneficial.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
7. Proactive, self-driven mindset, comfortable taking initiative in a dynamic environment and a team player dedicated to continuous improvement.
