Business development manager (m/w/x) - ai business solutions

Overview

Avanade is looking for Business Development Managers who are deal hunters, deal makers, originators and self-starters who can develop and win new business in a complex consulting environment with sophisticated technology solutions. This role focuses on net new sales of AI-powered business solutions and consulting services (e.g., CRM, ERP, Modern Workplace) to enterprise clients within the Microsoft ecosystem.


What you'll do

* Identify high-potential transformation deals and lead/runs many of the full sales cycles.
* Drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring, and developing new logos—clients engaging with Avanade for the first time.
* Work closely with partners to drive new business.
* Build a pipeline for growth and close business, including statements of work and contracts.
* Interact with Avanade's new and current clients, gain referrals, and form strong trust relationships that open doors and close deals.
* Maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions, competing offerings, and current penetration of services and solutions.


Skills and experiences

* Experience selling digital transformation and consulting services focused on AI Business Solutions such as CRM, ERP, and Modern Workplace.
* Experience selling across multiple solution areas such as Apps & Infra and Modern Workplace, preferably enterprise-scale engagements with global delivery. Inspire on business value-driven solutions infused by GenAI and Copilot.
* Experience with Microsoft and other partners to grow your book of business.
* Experience anticipating, identifying, and applying fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks.
* Success as a business development hunter with sophisticated closure capabilities.
* Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our client's business needs.
* Driving sales in a solution-selling environment at the C-suite level. You can position value-based contracts based on customer KPIs.

* You speak fluent German and are comfortable using German on a daily basis.
