Role: Senior Manager, Global Template Manager (GTM) Innovative Medicines (IM) Trade Controls
Location: Titusville, New Jersey, USA, with alternate hybrid locations including Raritan, NJ; Horsham, PA; Markham/Toronto, Canada; Beerse, Belgium; Latina, Italy; Cork, Ireland; Leiden, Netherlands; Zug or Schaffhausen, Switzerland; or São Paulo, Brazil.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with global stakeholders across Trade, Supply Chain, Compliance, and IT to gather detailed business requirements.
* Lead workshops, interviews, and validation sessions to understand current trade processes and identify gaps.
* Analyze and prioritize business needs, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and global trade policies.
* Translate business requirements into scalable and adaptable system templates for multiple regions.
* Define system architecture and configuration specifications to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
* Develop standardized templates and workflows to streamline trade operations, documentation, and reporting.
* Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams to incorporate regulatory requirements and updates into the system template.
* Create and maintain documentation on system configurations, workflows, and best practices; facilitate communication among regional teams.
* Lead end-to-end deployment, including system configuration, testing, user acceptance, and go-live activities.
* Provide insights and support for training and compliance documentation; support ongoing updates.
* Manage change management activities, including stakeholder training, governance for system updates, and documentation.
* Develop implementation roadmaps, timelines, and escalation plans to ensure timely execution.
* Oversee test script development and system testing; facilitate user acceptance testing and issue resolution prior to rollout.
* Monitor system performance, user feedback, and regulatory changes to identify improvements.
* Drive continuous improvement to enhance system efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
* Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources for successful delivery.
* Apply expertise in Trade Controls to connect automated, self-service, and assisted platforms as part of the Transcend Strategy.
* Regularly communicate project updates and issues to Deliver Leadership, Trade Control, Transportation, and Global Trade Compliance.
Qualifications
Education
* Minimum of high school or equivalent; Bachelor’s/University degree strongly preferred.
* Certifications such as PMP, FPX, APICS, Lean/Six Sigma, or equivalent are helpful.
Experience and Skills
Required
* Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
* Trade controls experience (processes, sanctions, embargos, sanction/party lists, etc.).
* Experience with business process design, engineering, or optimization.
* Demonstrated project management experience.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills and governance mindset.
* People management experience in a matrix environment.
Preferred
* Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or regulated industry experience.
* Proven experience with large-scale SAP ERP replacement projects.
* Experience leading multi-functional governance bodies and deploying standardized work processes and templates.
Other
* Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
* May require up to 50% travel domestically and internationally.
* Ability to work on-site at least three days per week with up to two remote days, per our flexible work policy.
