The Data Management Associate (CDMS) is a contract position for one year, starting as soon as possible.
In this role, a typical day will include:
1. Driving the contract management process
2. Maintaining master data objects in SAP system, such as customer master and rebates
3. Driving the price approval process and maintenance of pricing conditions in SAP system
4. Analyzing data and figures, providing ad hoc reports to APL and export markets’ stakeholders
5. Supporting export markets’ local teams to set up contract requests, using available tools and files
6. Reviewing contract requests and assigning them to relevant functions for approval
7. Drafting and issuing contracts and amendments
8. Uploading drafts and fully executed copies to the contracts repository
9. Managing the approval flow of Price Change Form (PCF) and Equipment Financing Arrangement (EFA), and maintaining templates regularly
10. Creating and maintaining customer master data and related objects such as pricing conditions, EFA contracts, and rebates in SAP
11. Participating in projects related to Finance and Supply Chain by providing reports and analyses to support business needs
12. Supporting APL and export market stakeholders with monthly KPIs, price lists, accruals reports, customer master, and contract reports to ensure business efficiency
13. Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and guidelines (e.g., Alcon Accounting Manual, Alcon Financial Controls Manual, regulatory and quality requirements)
14. Implementing and maintaining SOPs related to GEM Contract & Data Management processes, and providing training to stakeholders on internal procedures
15. Proactively evaluating and identifying areas for process improvement and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices
16. Performing ad hoc controls on a monthly and quarterly basis
What you’ll bring to Alcon:
1. Commercial apprentice degree; higher education degrees such as Bachelor or Master are a plus
2. Experience in administrative functions with a strong customer orientation
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
4. Knowledge of SAP system, preferably
5. Experience in a pharmaceutical or medical device international company is a plus
6. Basic financial knowledge and IT skills
7. Strong communication skills and customer focus
