Allwyn is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting for our Swiss holding and financing entities under Swiss CO and IFRS. In this role, you’ll handle complex accounting activities, lead key reporting deliverables, and support internal and external stakeholders across our international environment.
What you'll do:
* Manage General Ledger activities, reconciliations, invoices, payments, and routine accounting tasks in SAP
* Prepare statutory financial statements, quarterly Swiss VAT returns, and support tax compliance.
* Deliver monthly IFRS group reporting packages and collaborate closely with the Consolidation team.
* Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including accruals, IC reconciliations, and journal entries.
* Handle complex accounting transactions and ensure strong internal controls across assigned areas.
* Act as key contact for audits, preparing required documentation.
* Supervise junior accountants and collaborate with Finance, HR/Payroll, Treasury, and cross‑border teams.
* Lead payroll‑to‑ledger interfaces, payroll account reconciliations, and social security filings (non-operational).
* Oversee corporate credit card processes in Switzerland and provide first-level user support.
* Drive improvements in accounting processes, data quality, and ERP master data.
* Collaborate across offices (Prague, Lucerne, London) on various accounting matters.
What do you need to succeed:
* BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
* 5+ years of hands‑on accounting experience in a complex international environment
* Strong knowledge of Swiss CO, IFRS, statutory reporting, VAT, and tax principles
* Experience with year‑end closing and financial statement preparation
* Experience with SAP / SAP4 HANA
* High accuracy, strong analytical skills, and a structured, solution‑oriented mindset
* Ability to work independently and within a matrix organisation
* Strong communication skills; fluency in English and German language
* Collaborative, adaptable, and able to thrive in fast‑paced environments
