MEP Project Manager – Data Centre (Client-Side)

We are working with a leading construction consultancy that is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to be seconded client-side on a major data centre development in Zurich .
This is a high-profile, technically complex project and offers the opportunity to work closely with the end client, managing MEP delivery from design through to commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the client-side MEP Project Manager, representing the end user
Manage MEP design coordination, delivery, and installation
Oversee MEP contractors and specialist subcontractors
Ensure compliance with programme, budget, quality, and safety requirements
Interface with designers, consultants, and construction teams
Lead MEP commissioning, testing, and handover activities
Manage risk, change control, and reporting related to MEP works
Requirements
Proven experience as an MEP Project Manager on large-scale projects
Data centre experience is strongly preferred
Strong client-side or consultancy background
Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Experience managing complex MEP packages and commissioning
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in Zurich (EU/Swiss right to work preferred, but not essential)
