Ready for Swisscom As a DevOps & System Engineer, you will help manage the lifecycle of our applications and systems in both the productive and development environments. You will also support the development of new features and functionalities, in an agile setup, for our applications and systems. You will work closely with development, operations and security teams to improve, manage and maintain systems and applications.
System administration (including management of software lifecycle)
Bug and incident resolution
Development of new features and functionality for new and existing software
Adhering to, and supporting change enablement and incident processes
Work closely with development, operations, product managers and security teams to provide an optimal solution for our customers.
Monitor and manage application performance and quality of service, including initial troubleshooting, root cause identification and issue resolution.
Skill Check - Your skills:
Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS/HF) in Computer Science and/or DevOps/System Engineer with several years of professional experience.
Several years of System and network administration is an advantage.
You can work with Powershell, Beyond Trust, Zabbix, Acronis, MS Server and Linux.
Curious and team player with enthusiasm for technical innovation and trends in the Swiss SME environment with a focus on IT cloud solutions.
Good French and English, German is an advantage.
Open to work in an Agile environment.
Ability to manage relationships with project’s stakeholders.
Feel comfortable working autonomously.
