We are seeking a
Remote Service Technician
experienced in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of natural gas compressor units and related equipment. This position supports field operations by ensuring equipment reliability and performance through hands-on service and effective communication with internal teams. The ideal candidate will have solid technical experience working with natural gas compressors, engines, and related systems, including Caterpillar, Cummins, Waukesha Engines, and Ariel Compressors. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions:
 * Inspect, monitor, and troubleshoot gas compressor units and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
 * Perform routine and corrective maintenance on engines and compressors, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues as needed.
 * Accurately complete work orders, maintenance logs, and service reports in a timely manner.
 * Collaborate with supervisors, district managers, and fellow technicians to resolve field issues and share technical expertise.
 * Provide excellent customer service through professional communication and representation in all field interactions.
 * Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications
 * High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in gas or diesel engines and compressors preferred.
 * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
 * 3–5 years of experience working with natural gas compressors, engines, or related equipment; experience with large horsepower compressors preferred.
 * Working knowledge of Caterpillar, Cummins, Waukesha, and Ariel equipment.
 * Basic proficiency with diagnostic tools and software such as Cat ET, Waukesha ESP, or Ariel Performance.
 * Comfortable using computers and mobile devices for reporting and communication.
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused and collaborative approach.
 * Demonstrated problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently or within a team.
 * High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy, safety, and quality workmanship.
 * Employment for this role is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
