About the team you are joining
IATA Events provide organizations active in air transport with an essential arena for insight, discussion and cooperation on industry-related issues. Your will join the IATA Event Operations team as Intern, Contracts and therefore work in a fast pace, multi-disciplinary and diverse environment. If you have excellent organizational and communication skills, a high-level of initiative and strong cultural awareness, enjoy engaging with internal and external stakeholders and are interested in events and in the air transport industry, we strongly encourage you to apply to this position. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Event Operations, you will help drive core event processes, including SAP tasks, registrations, website updates, and general administrative support.
What your day would be like
You will keep our SAP operations running smoothly by creating invoices, tracking payments, and managing credit/debit memos with accuracy and attention to detail.
You will manage weekly ICH registrations for all events, ensuring that all data is submitted on time and to the highest quality standards.
You will support the IATA Events Team with a variety of administrative tasks across the full event cycle from planning and preparation to on‑site coordination and post‑event follow‑up.
You will maintain and update event websites, including refreshing content and uploading sponsor logos, ensuring our online presence is always up to date and reflects the latest event developments.
We would love to hear from you if
You recently (within 1 year) graduated from a University with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field such as Marketing, Event management, Economics and/or Business.
You have knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.), HTML/SharePoint. Experience with SAP is a plus.
You can prioritize multiple projects, are highly organized and can take care of detailed administrative tasks;
You can easily adapt to workload and work under pressure with a positive mindset, proactivity and a problem-solving attitude
You have excellent English writing skills and good attention to details.
